- תַּחְתִּיm., pl. תַּחְתִּיִּם, תַּחְתִּיִּים (b. h.; preced.) lowest compartments. Gen. R. s. 31 (ref. to Gen. 6:16) ת׳ לזבלים the nether rooms were for dung; Snh.108b; a. e.V. תַּחְתִּית.
